I first met Vanessa when she came to my house for a consultation. She was lovely! Upon entry, she immediately gravitated towards my two dogs, Posie and Maya. She got down on the floor to play with them, and she was happy to receive wet kisses from both. Vanessa sat with me to discuss my needs, shared with me her suggestions, and asked pertinent questions about my dogs. Vanessa had also prepared a comprehensive package of paperwork that collected key information about my veterinarian, dog food, where she could find cleaning supplies if required, my own personal contact information, as well as who to list as emergency contacts. The conversation and in depth questions put my mind at ease as I quickly realized that Vanessa was a professional who knew what she was doing and was someone I could trust implicitly. Vanessa comes to my home twice daily to let my dogs out, give them a treat, and engage in playtime. Vanessa has removed all concerns I have about leaving my dogs while I am at work. She prepares for me a sign in/out sheet where she identifies what time she has arrived and left. She also writes me messages about my dogs’ pees and poos so that I am aware of what’s gone on throughout the day. Also, Vanessa emails me fun anecdotes about the dogs and sends texts with fun, heart-warming pictures of what she and the dogs have gotten up to. I know that Vanessa has my dogs’ best interests in mind. She is a phenomenal caregiver. I enthusiastically recommend Vanessa and her services. She has allowed me to carry on throughout my day and not worry about my pets at all. She is wonderful! I have used Vanessa’s dog care services for the past two years. My previous dog carer was moving out of the area and she helped me to find Vanessa and I’ve been grateful to Silke for finding Vanessa for me ever since. In the last two years Vanessa has given Pip his daily walks, and provided dogcare and also dogsitting services when I’ve needed them. She has been absolutely reliable and I couldn’t have asked for a more trustworthy and responsible person to look after Pip. Pip is a very anxious dog and it was crucial that I had someone he felt secure with, and I have no doubt that when I leave him with Vanessa that he is getting the best care possible. I had the pleasure of meeting Vanessa during spring break while dog sitting my daughter's lab along with my own cat. My daughter had arranged for Vanessa to walk and train the lab each morning that I was there. I would highly recommend Vanessa for her many things including her full knowledge of dog walking and training along with her happy disposition. Both the dog and cat ran to meet her every morning and she did a great job such as training the dog not trying to run after other dogs while walking. She also does many other services, such as nail trimming for cats which I took advantage of while there. I have to say her charge for doing that is half what I presently pay my vet.
